In his 2002 book Engaging with God, David Peterson casts worship as engaging with God "on His terms, and in the way that only He makes possible." When you come to worship at First Baptist, you will sense that our focused passion is to exalt Jesus Christ, who died for us to give us eternal life. We seek to foster an environment that makes worship personal, authentic, and a natural response from the transformed heart.
